about

Just in time for Summer, Wrongtom emerges with a new EP on Tru Thoughts to take over the airwaves and sound systems across the festival season and beyond. Out 21st August on 12” vinyl in a full colour sleeve with an eerie, Ouija board-inspired theme, the “Possessed EP” continues in the spirit of his series of 'Wrongtom Meets' projects, boasting collaborations with Tippa Irie, JC Lodge, The Ragga Twins, Desta Zion, The Correctional Horns and Deemas J as well as a bonus cut from his long-standing live reggae/dub collective the Stoneleigh Mountain Rockers.

Wrongtom signed to Tru Thoughts in 2013, releasing the 'In East London' album under the Wrongtom Meets Deemas J collaborative name, which brought praise from all corners for its uplifting and celebratory yet down and dirty, vintage dub-infused sound. The tastemakers who lined up to heap praise on the album ranged from The Quietus, The Wire and FACT to Record Collector, MOJO, Q, Clash and beyond, adding to heavy radio support including Steve Lamacq, Huey Morgan, Cerys Matthews, The Selector and John Kennedy (who included a live session track on his XFM Record Store Day vinyl release alongside the likes of Drenge, Toy, Savages and more).
